Sleepy Sun is a psychedelic rock band from San Francisco, California made up of singers Bret Constantino and former singer Rachel Fannan, guitarists Matt Holliman and Evan Reiss, bassist Jack Allen, and drummer Brian Tice.

Biography

Sleepy Sun released their debut album Embrace on ATP Recordings on June 16, 2009, which received favorable reviews.[1][2] Their follow-up album, Fever, was released on June 1, 2010.[3] The band embarked on multiple tours throughout 2009, with their live show becoming a subject of acclaim.[4][5] In March 2010, they embarked on a tour of the United States, opening for the English rock band Arctic Monkeys.[3] At the end of October 2010 Rachel Fannan left the band due to conflicts with other bandmembers. Fannan continued her carrier as a solo artist afterwards[6] and published a solo album Deeper Lurking. In 2011 Sleepy Sun went on tour with The Black Angels.
